Silent Treatment

Something's up with Bloom. A little while ago, I saw her putting weird decorations on our door. I asked about it, and she was real hush-hush about it. It looked sorta lovey-type stuff, so I have to wonder if she was trying to cast some sort of love spell. To make sure Sky doesn't cheat on her, or something, I guess, I dunno'. Rather rude of her to just igore me when I asked her what she was doing, though. Couldn't she have at least told me to ask later if she didn't want to talk about it then?

Anyway, I guess I really should be going to Mirta's room, now. She thinks that we could get along with Amarill, somehow. As if! But if Mirta sees firsthand how the monster treats us, then maybe it'll finally hit her that Amarill is just plain bad news.

Well, it's another beautiful day in the world of Stella. Chris seems like a nice guy, but I think I can see why Sky might've been bullying him. Sky probably thinks of Chris as just a wussy girl.

Don't get me wrong--I like Chris and I bet he can be quite debonair--Tecna, dearie, I'm looking at you here. It's just that you don't see many guys walking around with cute little forest creatures. Sky probably sees Chris as a stupid girly girl, and gets his kicks from that. Oh, poor Chris. I don't really want to ask Chris himself, though... might be a bit of a sore spot for him. If he wants to talk about it, I'll be there to listen, but then, that's not the sort of thing most guys really like talking about, especially not to a bunch of girls.

Chris said he'd be able to get me a cute little blue bunny, too. He said they had other creatures too... fish, rats, snakes, frogs, but I don't know why anyone would want to keep those as pets. Must be a guy thing. I love them, but I certainly don't understand them!

Sigh... I suppose it's getting close to that time again, to start back up the school year. I'm kinda' looking forward to it--I mean, I'll get to hand out with my friends, and of course, there's nothing like going on a shopping spree in Magix, but it's always so hard. So much work they give all us poor girls. And Griselda, she's always just so mean to us for no reason! She must have had a very traumatic childhood, or something.

I wonder what sort of trouble we'll all cause this year. I hope Griselda starts picking on someone else more, this year, and let us get away with more. Griselda ought to go after Amarill this year. I mean, we're all angels compared to her and her clique.

I bet Tecna's already at Alfea. It would just be so like her to be so anxious to get back to her studies... I don't understand it, myself. I should call her, get the scoop what's going on there. I'd better not find my wardrobe moth-ridden!

Something's on Musa's mind. She seems almost like her mind's been on something else during our little shopping spree. I think she's mad at me for picking her up late. I don't have a good reason. I tried to explain that I was having a major fashion crisis, trying to decide what to wear, but I'm just making excuses. I mean, don't get me wrong, I did have a lot of trouble picking out the right outfit, but for all the trouble, I just wound up wearing my usual outfit anyway, that I always seem to wear whenever I can't decide. Sigh. Oh, I'm so sorry, Musa.

Princess Duties

OK, so I'm a little lazy... I have more important things to do than this journal. I mean, I am a princess, and as such, I do have official duties as a princess. Like showing up for Daddy's declaration to the people of Solaria. Or Mom's declaration to the people of Solaria. Or Daddy's declaration to the people about how Mom is evil incarnate. Or... blah, I hate it! I don't see why they have to keep dragging me to their little squabbles.

Still, it's been nice. I've visited my friends homeworlds. Flora's home is cute, but dirty... they could really use a few dozen dry cleaners. Musa's home is beautiful, and the music is, simply, awesome! Tecna, though... I feel bad for her. Her home is so incredibly boring, really, I don't know how Tecna can stand being around people who seem like nothing more than walking computers... boy did I ever feel out of place there. Some people there were even complaining about how impractical my clothing was! Like they're ones to talk--considering what she's grown up with, it's really amazing Tecna's clothes are as nice as they are.

Anyway, I've got to get ready... only fourteen hours until my date with Brandon tonight. Ooh, I'm excited, but it's going to take me forever to pick out the perfect outfit. I'll search on... maybe Bloom can help. I think I'll call her.

Summer. Whee.

Miss Faragonda said we ought to keep journals during our summer vacations. Why, I don't know... personally, I'm not looking forward to this vacation. I mean, not to say I like school, or anything, but to be part of my parents' little tug of war, like, I could really do without. That's almost going to be worse than the battle we had with the disgusting bugs.

I hope Brandon's given a lot of free time over the summer. Spending quality time with my guy is an absolute must, but since he's not royalty, it's not entirely up to him when he can go out. Maybe he and Sky can go out with me and Bloom together. I'd like to see Bloom, too... I'm going to miss her over the summer. Yes, she's annoying sometimes, but who isn't? She's really such a great friend. I'm happy for her, that we found out she was a princess. Bloom totally deserves that title, Princess of Sparx. Almost as great as Princess of Solaria.

Honestly, though, I'm not crazy over Sky. I mean, with the way he dumped Diaspro, and all. I mean, Bloom is absolutely wonderful and all, but Diaspro is a princess, and as a princess, she really did not deserve to be cheated on. Heck, even if she weren't a princess... that was just wrong. I'm worried he may pull that stunt on Bloom. I mean, I hope not... I just don't fully trust him. But as long as I'm seeing Brandon, it's best to stay on his good side.

Mission for next year: get Tecna a better wardrobe. I feel bad whenever I see how she's dressed, like she can't afford anything decent. She says she likes her clothes, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't mean it. She just says that to be polite.
